Inferences

Background knowledge- These are all clothing you wear when its cold

Describing
Why do we describe things and how do we do it?
Describing is when we report details about something
We describe to help others understand us better and to make things more interesting
We can describe objects, people, books, movies, or events
Informations to include when describing:
Example: An apple is a fruit. You eat it by biting into it or cutting it up. You can also use it to make different things like apple pie or apple juice. An apple is red, green, or yellow, it's round, and it's small enough it fit in one hand. An apple comes from an apple seed, which turns into an apple tree! An apple has a stem, skin, a core, and seeds. You can find it in the produce section at the grocery store. At home, I keep apples in my fridge. Apples taste sweet and sometimes sour. They are smooth on the outside and 'crunch' when you eat them! I love to go to apple picking at the orchard during the fall season.
